Are you being called?
A Team Rector is sought for the Tolworth, Hook and Surbiton Team in the Deanery of Kingston. The team consists of the three parishes of St George Tolworth, St Paul Hook and St Matthew Surbiton. The Team Rector will serve as Vicar of St Matthew’s.
30,000 people live in the benefice in the Royal Borough of Kingston and on the outer London borders. About a third of them in St Matthew's parish. The parish of St George’s anticipates a substantial development of residential housing. The parish of St Paul’s , south of the A3, is currently in vacancy.
The three churches are united in their desire to grow, share the good news of Christ, serve the community and seek new ways to engage with families, children and young people.

- lead and develop the congregation ,
- take forward plans for mission
- grow the ministry amongst children, families, and young people
- enable community links, increasing collaboration and identifying new project
and who - is a good communicator and listener
- has strong inter-personal skills
- is energetic and dynamic, whilst patient and resilient
- has positive interaction with young people
- is computer literate and technology aware
