This Benefice is situated in a vibrant, inclusive, semi-rural community within the Deanery of Petworth. The Patrons and the Bishop of Chichester seek to appoint an Incumbent (half-stipend) who will offer a dynamic evangelistic, pastoral and liturgical ministry, as we seek to know, love and follow Jesus. 
 

We are praying for a priest who will:

• bring renewed energy, optimism and forward thinking to this beautiful Parish in the heart of West Sussex 
• celebrate the broad, diverse and generous culture across the Benefice
• serve with joy and warmth in their pastoral ministry, sustained by their own deep faith in Christ and with confidence in liturgical and eucharistic worship
• support and develop our existing relationship with our Church of England, and other, schools
• be a visionary priest who is gifted in collaborative leadership
• be a gifted communicator of God’s grace
