Introduction

Lantern Initiative Lead

Do you have a passion for being alongside and helping people who, too often, remain on the margins? Do you have a proven track record of project development and delivery? Would you welcome the opportunity to engage with and explore spiritual issues with those in the midst of particular vulnerability?

If so, you might be the person we are looking for!

Newcastle Cathedral seeks a gifted individual with a unique combination of strengths to lead the work of the Lantern Initiative. Set at the heart of City life, we are at work seeking ways to respond to and be alongside those facing dark and difficult times. The postholder will assist us in continuing to develop a culture, partnerships and a co-created programme of activities which help all who come through the Cathedral doors to discover more of their God-given worth. Could you be the person with the gifts to help us move this work into its next phase, as we insistently make important connections between social action and spirituality?
