Introduction
This role is a wonderful opportunity for the person with the right gifts and enthusiasm.
The Associate Priest, as part of the cathedral benefice team, will work with an enthusiastic PCC and Ministry team to develop the life of the two churches in this thriving parish. The parish is keen to develop further its work with children and young people, its lead on Eco Church and its inclusive welcome as well as sustain engagement with the wider community with the benefit of the church’s excellent recently reordered facilities.
The Area Bishop of Ripon, the Dean of Ripon as incumbent, and PCC, are keen to find the right person to take on this attractive role. There is a pleasant, modern vicarage within the delightful village of Sharow and a supportive, diverse and gifted congregation.
The Associate Priest will also enjoy the support of the Cathedral Dean, wider clergy and lay ministry team across the Benefice.
