Overview
The Bishop of Newcastle wishes to appoint a half-time priest to be Priest in Charge to the Benefice of Kingston Park St John.
Introduction
Kingston Park is a key commercial and residential centre to the northwest of Newcastle city centre. The parish has a growing, diverse population and a busy community life. We are an ecumenical partnership with the Methodist Church, the Baptist Union and the URC but one congregation, together serving the community as the church in Kingston park. We are always looking to increase the welcome and presence of the church with our flexible space for worship and community events.
Main Responsibilities
A new minister is sought who can join in and work with an established team to offer oversight, deepening our faith, developing discipleship, particularly amongst our children and young people, as well as being a visible church presence in the wider community.
