Introduction

An exciting opportunity as we seek a full time Rector to join our vibrant church community in this united Benefice situated at the base of the North Downs.

The Benefice of Ightham and Wrotham is looking for an inspiring and Christ-centred Rector; who can combine the best of the old with the best of the new and is excited to lead the church family to grow in Christ and serve the community.

Our vibrant, commuter-rural parishes offer opportunities and challenges for the right incumbent to work with our committed volunteers and make a difference in this beautiful corner of Kent.

Could you be the visionary leader whose energy and creativity helps us evolve and grow?

Could you encourage the church and engage all ages in our communities, especially the children and families?

Could your compassion and commitment to pastoral care help people feel part of the church family and encourage the gifts and talents among us?

Would you like to work with our wonderful Benefice administrator and dedicated teams of volunteers to strengthen the bonds of the Benefice, nurture the congregations and see the church family thrive and grow?

Are you being called to lead this flock?

If so, we can offer you:
  • A united Benefice committed to sharing Christ and serving the community
  • Parishes with good facilities and excellent community spirit.
  • Friendly and engaged congregations offering practical support as well as prayer
  • A Benefice that values your personal well-being and professional development.
The Rectory is a 4-bedroomed property with spacious garden, garage and off street parking in the village of Wrotham, with good local amenities and easy access to London.
