Introduction

We are two welcoming and friendly churches: St Peter's Chertsey is at the heart of its town, central to its life.  Holy Trinity, Lyne and Longcross is a traditional village church with its own parish and Church Primary school.

We are seeking a new spiritual leader who:
  • is Evangelical/Charismatic, Christ-centred and prayerful
  • will help us discern God's will, guided by the Holy Spirit to lead our parishes forward into this new season
  • has fresh ideas and energy to deliver them, with sensitivity to take account of people's traditions.
Our vision is to continue to develop our discipleship, prayer and youth ministry and to grow our outreach to the wider community and beyond.

We have a strong, supportive ministry team and PCCs who look forward to working with you and supporting you.  We also offer a new vicarage and a commitment to the Guildford Clergy Wellbeing Covenant.

If you would like to have an informal conversation, please contact the Archdeacon of Dorking at archdeacon.dorking@cofeguildford.org.uk

We believe that diversity is a strength.  We actively welcome and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities, particularly those who identify as female, younger, of a UK Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage, or disabled, as it's essential that we reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
