We are a vibrant, and flourishing parish on the high weald in Sussex looking for a thoughtful and prayerful priest and pastor to accompany, inspire and lead us on the next stage of our journey. We will offer our priest encouragement and support, and we will value the ministry you offer us. We are a diverse parish in many respects, made up of a range of traditions and perspectives, and our identity is rooted in the traditional Anglo-Catholic end of the Church of England.
We are seeking a parish priest who will:
  • Love the congregation and be a faithful pastor to all
  • Be thoroughly at home in the Church’s sacramental tradition
  • Can reflect on the scriptures and bring them alive
  • Seek to draw new people into the worshipping life of the church
  • Enjoy engaging in ministry in the local school
  • Participate in and encourages community life
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Be secure in their own sense of self and life of prayer
