Introduction
Rector, The Gauzebrook Group of Churches
The Bishop of Bristol seeks to appoint a Rector for the Gauzebrook Group of churches, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Is God calling you to join us in “Loving God, Loving Neighbour” in this beautiful multi-parish benefice in North Wiltshire?
We hope our new Rector will:
- Lead and encourage us as we grow together in Christ
- Enable us in our mission and witness to our communities, so that lives may be changed through faith
- Journey with us in the development of our group vision, equipping us to be a relevant church for today’s culture and society
We offer you:
Loving, prayerful practical support from a very willing, participative church membership; a committed and collaborative ministry team; administrative support; space and opportunity to develop and grow in your personal faith and participation in the Diocese of Bristol’s coaching programme; and an attractive Rectory.
For an informal conversation please email the Archdeacon of Bristol, The Ven Becky Waring, becky.waring@bristoldiocese.org
Closing date: Sunday 27 April
Familiarisation and Interviews: 14 & 15 May
Those with disabilities or those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds are under-represented in our diocese, so we particularly encourage applications from clergy in these groups.
The Diocese of Bristol is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders are expected to share this commitment.
