Introduction
Cathedral Safeguarding Officer
£39,742 - £42,794 (FT) per annum, pro rata depending on experience + plus a contribution of 10% of salary into a personal pension plan
14 hours per week / fixed term contract: 12 months

This role will enhance safeguarding support for the Cathedral and the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA) in serving and equipping the Cathedral community and the Diocese to live out its mission.
Based in Southwell, the successful candidate will provide management of new and existing cases as directed by the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, undertake risk assessments and support cathedral staff during a child or adult protection enquiry and afterwards.
This is an opportunity for a suitably experienced Safeguarding professional to use their skills to enhance the support to the Cathedral in a complex environment.
